Ordinary bicycles can be converted to tricycles using either a bolt on conversion or even a brazed on conversion ( for certain steel frames only), it is possible to add 1 or 2 rear disc brakes . Bolt on conversions are as the image below but with adjustable seat stays . The basic price of a bolt on conversion is £700, plus brakes , if needed, and wheel building .
