Founded by George Longstaff in 1982 – a bike enthusiast who originally specialised in manufacturing custom-built cycle frames from his garage – Longstaff Cycles has gone from strength to strength to become a leading online bike specialist.

In 1986, Longstaff Cycles moved to our current premises where our business continued to grow – earning us a reputation for manufacturing high quality cycle frames built to customer specification.

To meet the demands of our ever-growing client base, we extended our business, buying the old Salvation Army building next door to our workshop and transformed it into a retail outlet – giving cyclists greater choice of bike products, accessories and tyres.

If you’re a seasoned rider, we can also provide sound advice on trialling, off road biking and touring, as well as a host of other special requirements.
